Friday, December 14th, 2007

One of the things that has always amused me is that chemical companies make lawn care seem so much harder than it really is. If you follow a few simple guidelines, you can easily keep your lawn looking great as well as make it an environmentally friendly example of ENE (Extreme Neighborhood Envy)

While these aren’t all the things you need to know, these are the first three steps in creating and maintaining a healthy, organic lawn.

If you need further info on organic lawn care, let me suggest a wonderful resource is my own ebook on Organic Lawn Care (yes, that’ a plug) :-).

I mean, a Phellodendron that normally lives in a 6-inch flower pot on a northern windowsill produces arm-sized trunks and throttles massive trees in this Southern area. I have to tell you how much I enjoyed seeing all these plants (even if I hadn’t a clue what half of them were) in a garden setting. I hope you enjoy some of these pictures as well.
