Here's a pondless waterfall project from beginning to end that a reader sent in from his own backyard. Pretty good stuff - he built this himself with a little help from outside contractors.

Your title: “WATERLESS Waterfall” is a misnomer . . .
It should be: “PONDLESS Waterfall”,
as there is DEFINATELY PLENTY of WATER involved! (;
